Taskforce Software Ltd co-developed the following systems for the clothing industry with Cybrid International.

PDS - Pattern Design System

Base size patterns are input using a proprietary large bed scanner or a large digitizer, or imported from other systems. A variety of editing operations may be performed on the patterns before manually or automatically grading and passing to a lay planning package. The resulting lay plans are then output to a plotter, card cutter or a cloth cutter.

MPO - Multiple Piece Organization

This program is designed to run in conjunction with PDS. As well as providing additional functionality it also serves as an interface between PDS which runs under MSDOS and Windows applications such as Lay Planning.

Digital Photometrics

This project was partly funded by the DTI under the SMART award scheme. This pattern recognition software processes images from a digital camera for fast input into PDS 6 or other pattern manipulation software.

CLCS - Cybrid Lace Costing System

CLCS was written specifically for Gossard to calculate the most economical selection of expensive laces for a given order. An optimal lay plan is then produced for each garment size positioned on the chosen lace.

FromAToB

Cybrid's customers require a secure means of exchanging a collection of files between different sites. FromAtoB provides a simplified file selection interface and secure, virus proof, email transmission.
